Our Team

Nate White, CPFA, C(k)P™, AIF®

Founder / Managing Principal

As a natural born athlete (if he’s not busy serving clients, you’ll likely find him on the slopes or the soccer field with his family), it’s no wonder that founder Nate White describes the guiding ethos of Teros in two words: continuous motion.

Over nearly two decades, Nate has carved out a position as one of the most innovative thought leaders in retirement plan consulting. As the founder and president of Teros, he oversees the continuous evolution of the company, ensuring that he and his team are always looking ahead and helping clients prepare for developments on the horizon. His proactive approach and professional integrity have earned him a spot in the Financial Times list of Top 401(k) Advisors for the last four years. Accolades aside, he is proudest of the firm’s ability to empower clients to manage their fiduciary policies and maximize employee benefits effectively, even in a rapidly evolving industry.

“We believe in being nimble. We always know what’s coming, so we can help our clients be ready for anything.”

Keri Spanier, PPC™

Vice President, Retirement Plan Advisor

An eighteen-year veteran of financial services, Keri Spanier has a sharp head for investments and big heart for her clients. After starting her career at a large health insurance firm that offers retirement plan advising on the side, Keri decided to launch her own business, knowing she could serve her clients much better if she set the standards herself. She operated independently for fourteen years, until meeting Teros founder Nate White. In Teros, Keri seized the opportunity to join a team as trustworthy, honest and committed to doing business the right way as she is. Today, she brings her natural talent for building relationships and 100% of her focus to the table every single time. She loves knowing that her guidance and influence with company leaders dramatically impact the lives of every single employee.

“I don’t just hand my clients the numbers and leave. I care for them and make them a part of my life.”

Delphine Hunt, CRPS®, PPC™

Retirement Plan Advisor

There’s a reason clients have nicknamed Delphine “The 401K Therapist.” She serves as their counselor and champion, working to dispel myths, calm fears and break down complex solutions into clear roadmaps for her clients. The first step is getting people excited about retirement planning – a task that gets easier once people pick up on Delphine’s own passion and the impact that savings can have on their future. Having worked at larger benefits firms in the past, Delphine joined Teros in 2017 to work for a firm that believes in treating clients the same way she does: with fresh thinking, out-of-the-box solutions and a team approach to achieving what’s best for everyone they serve.

“I love what our team stands for. Every client matters. Every client is the most important.”

Rick Ferguson, AIF®, CEBS

Retirement Plan Advisor

With two decades of experience in institutional management, Rick brings extensive insight to the Teros team and clients, as well as a wholly unique perspective.

Rick started his career at an engineering firm after earning a degree in industrial technology. Then, when the “.com” boom began, he decided to take his shot in this exciting new field and discovered a natural aptitude for the financial side of business. He excelled quickly, rising up the ladder at various financial firms and strengthening his knowledge and investment expertise along the way. Rick’s greatest skill, however, is developing great interpersonal relationships. He does it every day at Teros, educating and connecting with the clients we serve–and hope to serve one day. He especially loves seeing the light come on in people’s eyes during the “a-ha” moment when they realize that the future they have always dreamed about is well within their reach.

“Teros is at the forefront of defining retirement for the next generation.”

Marivic Hammond,

Retirement Plan Consultant

A seasoned investment advisor with more than 15 years of industry experience under her belt, Marivic Hammond brings keen investment strategy and wealth management insight to the Teros team. However, her greatest asset is her ability to connect with clients and get to the heart of their relationship with money. Marivic understands that retirement planning often requires hard conversations. So when meeting with clients, she goes beyond financial buzzwords, breaking down the barriers to build a real understanding of financial pain points and goals. She loves being on a team that works just as hard to serve and empower clients.

Marivic’s knack for relationship building is just as effective outside the office. As mother of two very energetic (and very adorable) boys, an active board member for her local public schools, a previous mentor for scholars of a community college foundation, and leader of a professional women’s learning cooperative, she loves empowering others to create the best version of themselves and their futures.

“The best tool for retirement planning is the human connection.”
